Wild Ginger Studio Leaving Green Cove Springs
It’s with mixed emotions I’m writing to announce that Wild Ginger Studio will be closing its doors on March 31, 2021.
The past two years have presented more challenges than I could have ever imagined. Just as I was beginning to cope with life after Bob’s accident, COVID-19 was upon us, isolating us from children, friends and extended family. As with many businesses, COVID-19 created unavoidable revenue losses and increased operating costs. Operating at a loss, coupled with the risks and rigors of trying to do business safely during a global pandemic has proven to be unsustainable.
The building is for sale and my home is under contract. Once that sale closes, I will be moving to be near family and re-establish a scaled-down pottery studio near Troy, Montana.
The current classes will be the final 8-week sessions for 2021. Open studio members will have access through March 31st.
Since I will be downsizing my studio and workload, I will be selling some of the equipment and supplies. I’m planning a silent auction for late February and a clearance sale of remaining items in early March. More details to follow.
